HELP NEEDED!!! CD Player

I have just taken my Blaupunkt CD player out and reinstalled the original CD 413X Cd Player that came with my 2005 MG ZS+ 1.6.

But....It wont power up. I know i have to type the code in but CODE 0000 doesnt come up on the screen.

But....The little On/Off button lights up when i turn my lights on.

Can anyone help me please??!!

What it tells you in the manual doesn't work.

My wife tried it.

You have to press a button to get the 1st 0 to show then the up or down arrows to get the correct number of the code then press the same button again to input the number. Then press the button again to get the 2nd 0 to show etc.

Unfortunately, she can't recall what the "button" was that she pressed. Possibly the "1". Give it a try!

the problem i got tho is that nothing shows up on the little screen??
power must be going to the cd player cuz the on/off button lights up?
