Over on the www.mgsv-club.co.uk/gallery you will see a very clean SV! Here's one picture!

Barry would it be possible for you to make a list of the products you use to achieve this standard?

sure, the wash process consisted of APC (all purpose cleaner) foamed through a foam lance, the reason for this was that i needed to remove as much of the previous products that had been applied before. this was done twice, as to remove as much dirt/grit as possible with as little contact as possible (if that makes sense).

the car was then washed using the 2 bucket method.

after drying using a Miracle Dryer drying towel, along with with Last Touch Detailer, we went back under cover to assess the condition of the paint, and seing as it wasnt too bad, and as i only had the few hours, i applied Autoglym's Super Resin Polish. This helped hide the minor scratches as it contains fillers. after this was buffed off, Swissol Saphir Wax was applied, left for about 10 - 15 minutes before buffing off. superb wax btw, even if it is a little on the expensive side, but as Adrian saw the difference, i feel it was worth the money.

i try and show customers as much as i can/they want so then they have the choice of doing things they way i have, or however they want, or have me back to keep on top of cleaning their car. :D

that doesnt sound patronising, does it? its certainly not ment too

my prices start at £70 for that example. :)

Barry not patronizing at all - the proof is in the finish and you have proved your ability. £70 to clean my BM will be money well spent.

Just out of interest, why Saphir (not one of Swissvax's more exclusive or cheaper ones) or even Zymol?

I applied a few layers of Zymol Concours to my car *cough* last year and have left it to the rain to wash it since and it still looks pretty respectable. It's nice, it smells like food.

i could say why Zymol?

i heard good things about Saphir, so basically it was down to personal prefference, it was a case of "what shall i get?" rather than "i'll buy all and see what is best"

personally i thought it brings it out lovely :D
