Just testing the water really, but would anyone be interested in a Trackday at Curborough.
Maybe around September - October.

Either a 'Full' day or 'Half' day.

I've not got many details at the moment but it would be a weekday.
We can private book Curborough weekdays. Price is roughly £225 for a half day(approx £25.00) or £450 for a full (10am til 4pm)
Maximum is about 10 people so when you divide the cost it works out at about £45 each.

We would like to organise a track day if anyones interested.
If we can get enough for a half day at least then I'd still go ahead.
Being organised with Mandy Metro from http://www.metroownersclub.org/forum/index.php
If anyones interested then please post here.

I'm interested, but it's the old thing of money ! Curborough is quite a distance from me so it works out quite expensive, even though the fee for the day is relativly cheap. Will let you know for sure though closer to the time.

Great idea - enjoyed the one we did a few years ago.

Good luck - I'm sure you'll get the numbers you need (sorry away so can't attend).

Was going to commit to this but i see it has attracted the attentions of an unsavoury individual. Will not be attending as i don't believe MG's are safe within a mile of him. Best of luck with the event though, there seems to be some real interest in it ! :)

I remember it well Sward - taking you around the track for a few hot laps ! After that, everyone wanted a go and i ended up on track for most of the day - only stopping for a break when there were queues and to go in the ZT-T V8. the SV driven by Reidy and the ZR rally car driven by Evans. I also seem to remember that although it wasn't officialy timed, mine was the fastest road car of the day and overall only Gwyndaf Evans was faster - MUCH faster !!!

He's got thick skin i'll give that to him. But i just can't believe the sheer nerve of the man, still acting like he's never done anything wrong. Truth is, i would love to do this day but with him there - well lets put it this way, i don't want to be arrested for ABH !

I doubt that you are the only one feeling like that Mat.

T'was a good day last time I was at Curborough, some good memories.
