Byron sure she will have a ball. How right you are as to how school trips are no longer to the Zoo but Skiing too and as you say what an opportunity for her.

Just been looking for us a short break there, so on her return you can tell us all.

Tell me about it I think the only trip I went on from school was to Church Stretton (Carding mill valley) now I’m in Church Stretton every day boy how times have changed. Hope your young one enjoys the trip and takes lots of pics so that you can post a few on here to make us all jealous

None of us have ever flown so it's a big adventure for her at her age (14) and her school friends,i can see them now giving it large in central park and in the coffee shop like friends on tv,but it's very quiet in the house without her but make the most of it as she will be back soon enough.

They are flying with britain's no 1 long haul carrier so they will enjoy the flight aswell.

Friday afternoon not a very long trip but it's half term so her school work is not affected.

Think that will be long enough for them wait till she decides later in life she's off backpacking to Aus.

I do admire these kids for having the courage to go on these trips at such young age.

Vicky went to the States with Camp America when she was 18. Will went to China when he was 16 and Adam went to Italy sking when he was 16.
Todays kids have so many more opportunities than we ever had, and have so much more confidence.

Glad she arrived safely. Cold.... Kids don't feel the cold these days.

It's true that kids are more confident than us....but think how we must have looked to our parents when we were younger!!

Have times really changed or is it just a sign that we are now getting older??
The world seemed so much bigger when i was a child but now it's so easy to go wherever you want....:)
