Hopeing to get the wheels refurbed on the 180 shortly as they are starting to look tired and let the car down,i may go with brilliant silver as original or go down the civic type r route metallic dark grey i did think white would look well smart but cleaning those staight's is headwork in silver let alone white.

Brilliant silver does look smart when clean will have to wait and see.

My Rover 75's were in poor condition when I viewed the car at the dealers.
When I dealt my hand with the dealer with the price the offer was to include refurbishment of the alloys. Badly scuffed, in fact every wheel was scuffed, marked or had kerb damage. Thankfully, they, the dealers agreed.
The finish is a mattish finish but they do look good when cleaned up.
If I had the choice it would be brilliant silver or anthracite (shows less brake dust).

Think it depends on the colour of the car too.
I like Anthracite/Black for a cool look.
White for a Motorsport look - but not on a fast road car (too chavvy).

Having spoke to the driver of the 180 she has told me silver is the only colour to keep it original,so with that answer it's going to be silver good books and all that :hannah:

Go into a refurb shop and ask them to spray your wheels 'tinkley winkely silver', that will do the trick!

 Women! No imagination! So predictable!
I'm busy doing up some alloy wheels off Ebay for my wife's 214 and when I suggested gunmetal grey, or anthracite (the car is Nigthfire red) she said no, silver only! :frust:
