I am in need of two rear tyres for my TF, I have tried every where but no-one can get them. One place said maybe have some in April. I have emailed Goodyear but had no reply yet!

Anybody know what is going on, have they stopped producing these tyres for good?

Gaz.

Was reading in a mag the other week that it rated the Nexen. Thought it was on par with the premium brands. Plus I read that a guy with a 190+ swears by his choice of Nexen.

Thanks Max, but I've tried them.

Not sure about the Nexen, MG/Goodyear said at one time only to use Goodyear F1 GS-D2.

I'm a bit disappointed that Goodyear have not replied back to me, no wonder British Industry is going(gone) down the pan!
If this is not sorted, there is no way I will buy from Goodyear again. There must be alot of lost custom from people like myself. Don't Goodyear want my(and other's) money?

Who actually run these companies - it makes my blood boil!!

As mentioned on the F Register forum, I have one of these tires left in stock. Don't see any chance of getting any more in the foreseeable future.

This is unreal that a company the size of good-year have not got the decency to reply to your e-mail,personally i would go for another brand if you don't/can't get these tyre's,i have conti's fitted to my TF and have found them very good in the dry and very good in the wet which is a blessing with my cornering antic's :25_coolguy: .

Byron, It's been over a week and still no reply to my email. Well I am that wound-up that I am paying a visit to Goodyear tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone know where it said that MG/Goodyear recommend only using GS/D2's?

I was going to visit 'Goodyear' at 1400 hrs.
I got a phone call at 1300 hrs from my local Tyre Fitters to say that they had found me two Goodyear Eagle F1 215/40 ZR 16's.
From all accounts there are only 4 in the country! And I've got my name on two of them. :)
