The 180 is due it's second mot this weekend and having just looked at the last mileage it's only covered 8k in a year,i think it's time to start using it a bit more mind you when i do drive it it give's me that special goose bumps feeling all over like when i first got it this 180 has turned out to be a special car for both of us,which i find unreal as i get so bored with the same car quickly but not this time it's nearly 4 year's of ownership :racer: .

The 180 went in this morning for it's 2nd mot and i had'nt had time to check it over with being away,so anyway i had a call around 10.30 saying it had passed with nothing to report which i was glad about, work's out that we had covered just under 8k in a year shocking really.
8k in a year. When I started teaching in Barnsley (Jan 06), my ZR had done 20k. When I sold it last week it had done 54K. That's 34k in 15 months.

From what i have seen of MG's and Rover's they are pretty well bomb proof at mot time.

Its a shame that some garages stoop to such things to try and get work.

I always now take my own cars in nowadays.
Got my dad to take one of them in when I was away a few years ago. Came back with about 20 faults.

........... i hope so,i've done all the usual thinks like tyre tread, wiper blades, bulbs etc.
My son collected his Rover 25 yesterday (02 plate), full MOT and just been serviced (inc cam belt), so, hopefully, many miles of dependable motoring for him.
