No, the Oxfordshire MGOC needs a bit of an update. A bit like the FWD register website needs an update.

Patrick
Always fancied going to this. A long way at a busy time of year though.

Thanks to Max for starting this off.
I thought that I should just give you all the details for those who haven't been before. It was great to see so many MGFs and ZEDs last year.
Here goes........
MGs IN THE PARK
( A Grand Day Out )
Sunday, 3rd of June 2007
Oxfordshire MG Owners Club annual event, a ‘GRAND DAY OUT’ takes place on SUNDAY, the 3rd of JUNE 2007 at the very popular venue, the Cotswold Wildlife Park, which is just off the A361 Burford to Lechlade road, 2 miles south of the A40 from the Burford roundabout in Oxfordshire. The event starts at 10 am and normally goes through until 4.30 pm.
It is Oxfordshire’s main event and we would hope to see as many MG owners take advantage of this FREE day out as possible. The owners of the Cotswold Wildlife Park allow the MG and driver into the park and all its attractions for FREE. Only the passenger in any MG need pay the normal park entry fee which is around £8.50.
Oxfordshire MG Owners club do not charge an entrance fee for attendance at the MG event so, all in all, it promises to be a Grand Day Out and an inexpensive one at that.
Last year, the event attracted over 330 MGs ranging from TAs, MGAs, Midgets and MGB/Cs through to a fabulous turn-out of the newer MGF / TF convertibles and the various Z range saloons. There were even 4 MG SVs on show. The Car Club MG Register are attending and we certainly hope to have a lot of ZEDs turn up.
We expect to have a few representatives from automotive associated organisations also to keep the interest going. All this, together with the Pride of Ownership competition with trophies for the class and overall winner, the 25 mile Cotswold Run in the afternoon and the club raffle should make for a busy time.
Don’t forget to bring along any unwanted MG bits and display them by your car. Have a clear out of your garage and make a bob or two.
Remember, you also have total access to the Wildlife Park and all its attractions and facilities for FREE.
Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash but no picnic stoves or barbecues are allowed in case we inadvertently cook any of the wildife.
We hope to see you all there on the 3rd of June.
No booking is required. Just turn up on the day from 10am onwards and join in the fun.
For any further information required, contact John or Jean on 01993 778597

Hi,
Patrick, you are right.
The web site, for various reasons I wont go into now, has not been updated.
It has been a source of great frustration to me for a long while.
HOWEVER, within the next couple of weeks, a brand new, all singing, all dancing Oxfordshire MGOC website, or content management system, will be launched and it will have up to date info submitted, not only by myself, but by club members.
The website address will remain http:\\www.oxfordmg.com. but will be redirected to the new site very shortly.
I will post when it is operational.

NB: Does anyone want any specific models?
If so I can bring them along to the park. I don't plan to have a stall this year. But will bring a few Vanguards/Corgi along - all will be at a £5 each (makes life easy for everyone)!
We only live a 3/4 miles away and if anyone wants to see what is available - we can drop round and Max will cook you a steak! ;)
